The organization’s work is focused on the service of humanity in general and Syrian society in particular, by contributing in meeting basic needs of good living, enhance collaboration and partnerships, capacity building and empowering women, adolescents and youth. As well as, it is working to launch humanitarian and development projects, supporting and implementing them in several Syrian and Turkish areas, among the most important programs, in which the organization adopt general principles of humanitarian action, human rights, respect the target groups and promote the values of team, collaborated and voluntary works.

Önder Organization for Cooperation and Development adopts in its intellect, its projects and its policies the principles, the values and the politics that goes with general principles of humanitarian work and that goes with human rights and the general Chartres of international organizations as well which frame the relationship with stakeholders, for the sake of humanity in general and the Syrian society in particular without racial, ethnic, religious or national discrimination, and to contribute to responding to basic human needs, to provide ways of good living in away that respect human freedom and dignity, to persistently pursue to build and develop resources and abilities, manage them and giving them a value to achieve sustainable community development in its humanitarian, moral, legal, educational, cultural, social, economic and environmental dimensions. Accordingly:

  • The Organization is committed to respect the heavenly doctrines, national laws and the international Charter of the United Nations, the General Principles of Human Rights, the principles of humanitarian work, codes of ethical conduct, equality, impartiality and nondiscrimination on the basis of sex, religion or race of the targeted groups, to remedy grievances, defending rights and preserving them.
  • The organization is committed to promote social responsibility and improving its practices and incorporating them into the organization’s codes and components and partnerships and to implement the values of collective and participatory work, and seeking objectives that improves the well-being of society and that elevates the life of mankind.
  • The Organization adopts the principle of independence, and impartiality towards any ideology or political party in its humanitarian programs and projects
  • The organization adopts the concepts of institutional governance, its procedures, labor practices and fair employment practices and the right of participation in decision making for management, teams, beneficiaries. It provides training opportunities, inside and outside the organization with a sustainable vision for development, towards a society that is economically rich, structurally advanced and virtually knowledgeable.
  • The organization is committed to adopting the values of transparency, disclosure, integrity, credibility, and accountability, preparing administrative and financial reports and presenting them in accordance with generally accepted professional principles and all that takes care of Stakeholders’ rights and preserve them. • The organization seeks to achieve quality management and continuous improvement and productivity, and employ them according to competitive criteria and the excellence in performance at the level of internal and external environment, to achieve employee satisfaction, and develop their skills and competencies.
